Bali has several fair spots for fishing GT, on some spots we even had a multiple strikes and released catch in a day. The key of succes is how we can predict and read the water. where some of the bites were unstoppable running thru the rock.
Our biggest GT caught on popping trip was about 30 kilo in weight where we were out to a relatively closed to the island. GT catch are good on the seasonal months, but every month is worth to try, though a 20+ kilograms GT in weight is considered as rare catch.
Get your self ready for GT runaway, if you bring yourself gear, bring a 80 pounds class with sufficient drag set to stop the powerful GT.
