Take example at jigging, jigging in bali using a minimum 400 grams metal jig to 700 grams metal jig, to some more extreme  current, we are using 1 kilograms metal jig.
After we lowered down the lure to the sea bottom, we play jerk and retrieve motion for 20 spins of reel and lowered it down again and again, its not easy and its definitely a hard work exercise. doing that over and over again will surely train for your muscle and body. On the casting/popping sports fishing, we cast hundreds times a day before we may can get one spectacular strike to the lure of the monster fish, when everything turn into slow motion, when we heard nothing than the blood pulse, we seems to be able to see details of the fish splashing water surface striking our popper.

That’s just a start. When you got a bite, what you have to do first is hold the tackle set tight, i mean very tight, do not let it go.
On the set of 80 pound class, we set the drag to 20 – 30 pounds drag, meaning that you will hold the amount of drag similar to 30 pound weight, all the momentum will be hold in your leg, arms, shoulder, it train your muscle well.
Then, you will have to landed the fish, pulling/lift up the rod, and when you lower the rod in the same time you must reel in the line, until the fish on board, it take 5 minutes to hours depend on the fish size strength and species.

Addicting yet ego-friendly sports, admit it.
Sports fishing its an ego-friendly sports,  say you managed to land a 10 kilograms fish, then again you want to beat your own personal record with bigger fish. Then after that you will want to catch other species fish, then when you think you satisfy enough to your own personal record, a friend of yours telling you taht he caught a bigger fish, you readt the internet that in the same area there is bigger catch than yours.

Your adrenalin will be pumped in your vein, telling your brain to beat them, telling your brain to fantasize that you caught bigger fish, until no one can beat your own personal record.

As to any other sports, one willing to beat other person to be the best- biggest-higher-0faster record making.
It is very much indeed ego-friendly hobby and sports. You will never get enough, because the sea and the ocean offer unlimited possibilities, unlimited various of marine adventures, unlimited weight of fish or any sea creatures you can caught and maybe succeed to land on board.

You cant just get enough of it.
It is a sports yet addicting and ego-friendly sport, admit it !

MUST be in Kupang on Sunday and return to kupang on thursday, flight back to bali will be on friday.

But sport fishing may not the same with fisherman fishing, some people expecting many fishes caught, if so there are two alternatives, got to fish market or use drag net, that is NOT us.

Sport fishing is a sport, even to fish itself needs to work out, as exercise in the gym, only we are doing it onboard game boat take the guests to the best fishing spots.

if you guys always expect caught many fish and big fish just like in the tv or movie,
go to fish market and take picture with it. sport fishing in bali may result in up and down catches, it affected – as many of sportfishermen knew- by tide prediction, wind and the technical of fishing.
Sport fisherman doing fishing for sport whether when fight fish or when working the lure to get the fish, fisherman needs a lot of fish to sell to market and pay off fishermen cost of fuel.

our staffs are always show how to do jigging and do casting first to customer, sometimes the guests exhausted of jigging very quick, when they do, the staff then take over for jigging then when strike they will hand over the set to the guest.

Jigging is the real sports, thats why we call it sport fishing, jigging in bali is even more exercise than in gym, we use 450 grams the lightest jigs to 600 grams metal jigs.
In the water depth 80 meters to 120 meters. today a person told me, its not even a sport fishing, no fish to sport ( i almost laugh my ass off) got only one big strike today, it bent our 450 grams jigs to letter U shape. as usual, most of the big strike, did not finish to land it on board.

Sport fishing needs patience to play the metal jig or popper, it is an art, if your goal is to cruise and enjoy the sea while you are doing sports, you are a good candidates for a real sportfishermen,
if you jump on our boat, expecting the amount of money  you pay to charter the boat will result to the same amount of fish you can get in the market with the same amount of money, you better go to the fish market, easier, our driver we even can take you there.

Marine Gears
if only, we are able to serve in better (mean cheaper) rates,  we would love to do that indeed.
Marine gear demands the highest spec, highest grade to withstand the salty wind, spray of saltwater, shock, dropped, bump, wears, and all of those doesnt come cheap. soi if you like to test your gear, even your wrist watch, then take it on the saltwater. even one of the leading wrist watch that has silicon rubber band, it degraded when i use it for fishing many times. so i prefer the metal band till now, the wrist watch already stand the seawater for mosre than 8 years.

Those just the small things, the  Marine grade engine, aint come cheap. some of the companies are using the same engine for 8 – 10 years, we dont, as we mentioned many times, safety comes first, engine will be replaces every 850 hours use, i mean replaced with new one. those not yet included parts, service & periodically tune up, oils, hinges, polishing the railings, and many many things. For all those one medium usual game fishing oat, it will not far from usd 100,000 per boat initial cost to start.

Business & trust.
we have been very flexible to our customers, taking no deposits on bookings, based on trust. payment onboard, or at the marina, some even after the tour. But we are now, changing our policy, that  there is no more payment after the tours.
Starting now and effective today, all payment(s) must be fully completed before the tours on agreed rate, otherwise our driver will be glad to drive you back to your hotel.

We have been on a lot of trouble of people that do not value the trust. some even complain because the food is not warm when they are about to have lunch ON THE BOAT. WTF !!! if you want to have your food warm when you eat it, there is an easy way, eat the food while you sun bathing !!!
There is no way in a small Game fishing (ours is 12 meters) boat you want stove or microwave to warming up your food !! On Board  our 43″ hatteras indeed is possible, but it also has to compromise the price for the sam duration of tour, a usd 760 vs usd 1650.

yeaa yueaa yeaaa people / guest are different but some people is just making up any excuses to get discount as it is also showing that they are a**h*le.  I am very open to any bargain, any discussion, just dont make any bullshit and lower your self esteem just to have few dollars off,
it is an gentlemen agreement you do what you said, when we agree on some tours on some dollars that is a bond to us, my word is my bond.

Speed – Quality – Prices.
In business, aside of i love waters and fishing. speed and quality and prices cannot meel all three, you have to able to complete two of three.
If you like to have speed and quality – then the price will be higher too. if you like to have price very low, there is one of two in between speed and quality that you will have to sacrifice, otherwise if you have no limit on your budget, those three terms may have been achieved completely.

The fishing tours,
You may have been offered by your hotel staff that they will be able to provide cheeaperrrr than we offer, but will they offer betterrr than we offer?
They want you book thru them because they will make some commision out of it. Have they all really on the boat that they offer, have the asses / check the safety features ? have they been with the captain and know that he will drive the boat comfortly? what if the captain drive zig zag just yto make you dizzy and he/she can home quickly? its not worth the time you waste. what about insurance? too many questins to think about. In our trip we have think and prepared that all above for you to have the best safety, captain, guides, and value for money.
There are some boat charter offer cheaper price, but with no fishing gear inclusive, no transfer pick-up, no insurance, no safety equipment onboard, no experienced and skilled captain & crews, in total you will pay more for renting the tackle, pay transportation, btring your own drinks and foods, too much headache.

There are only less than 5 companies in bali that REALLY INTO sport fishing, all of them are great sport fishing companies, us is one of them. we know them all and we have good relationship to other sport fishing company.
Some other company may able to offer a cheap rate to take you for a fishing tour, not a sport fishing tour. i used to called it as ‘taxi driver’ during the fishing tours they drive you around to somewhere that they may not even know there is fish or not untill the time up, that mean they done doing their job when the time up, whether they know there is chance or not for catching fish.

If lost lure or lose PE line while guest using it, Line is USD 30/IDR 300.000, each metal jig lost is USD 18/IDR 150.000 guest must pay for the lost of lures/pe line. ANy other damage, such as reels or broken rods that use by the guest, guest will be charge as the value price of broken fishing gear.
